After graduating in Specialist Hair and Makeup, Carolyn founded getmadeup.com in 2003 to provide professional make-up and body painting services for the TV, entertainment, music and fashion industries.
She is a very talented make-up artist and produced her own make-up DVD in 2006 in collaboration with IMC Vision.
Carolyn is also an award winning body artist and the 2007 World Body Painting Champion. Her unique style and attention to detail has firmly established her as one of the UK's leading body artists. Examples of her expertise feature in television advertisements, music videos, magazines and newspapers as well as being used for CD covers and book covers. Her client list includes the BBC, SKY TV, The National Lottery, Unilever, Royal Parks Foundation, Del Monte and The Rugby Football League. She has used her talents to design and body paint for the launch of a new rose at the Royal Chelsea Flower Show, the opening credits for the Euro 2008 Football Campaign for SKY Sports and the painting of singer Javine Hylton for "Jeans for Genes Day".
Carolyn also regularly works with Storm Thorgerson who is the artistic genius behind many iconic album covers including Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and more recently Muse and Biffy Clyro. Her artwork is featured on Biffy Clyro's top selling album "Puzzle" and the subsequent singles "Folding Stars" and "Machines".
Carolyn is based in London but works internationally as an artist, judge and also an instructor for both make-up and bodypainting.
