Hello everyone! I am so excited to have been invited this year! I have always heard so many wonderful things about Rosey's convention, and was finally able to attend last year as an observer for the first time. Imagine my surprise when she asked me to come back again to be an instructor!
I have really only been face painting for a couple of years now (first actual full face was November 2005), so I hope everyone will excuse me for being scared witless ;o) I will try my very best to bring something useful to everyone wishing to attend my classes and/or demos.
As for my "class description", I have found that I apparently have a knack for effective animal faces, and I'm hoping that my most recent venture into extreme face painting (the Zoodiac project) will be of use in teaching my classes. I hope to demonstrate my techniques for placing an animal's features onto a human face in such a way that the human is transformed, even with the 3 - 5 minute on the job designs. There are key features of every animal that when placed effectively, can very quickly create an "animillusion", to coin a word ;o)
I am looking forward to meeting everyone, and if anyone has ANY questions, please do not hesitate to ask! I am new to the world of instructing, and I can use all the feedback I can get!
