Lorna is really looking forward to returning to do some more demonstrations at the UK Convention in sharing with you a little of what she has learned so far and, doubtless, learning yet a little more from all of you.
For those who do not know me, I started my artistic career at Glasgow School of Art and went on to Glasgow College of Building and Printing where I turned to an apprenticeship in graphic design and illustration. I am proud to say that some of my early, un-accredited, corporate designs are still, some twenty years later, in regular commercial use internationally.
Having taken time out for motherhood, I returned to the world of art at about the turn of the millennium and stumbled, almost by accident, into Face Painting. Never did I really think that what started as a hobby would so quickly become my bread and butter. Never did I think that something that I enjoy so much could also provide me with a reasonable living.
