I'm flying about 5,150 miles (or 8,280 km) from the Grand Canyon State of Arizona in the USA to be at this fantastic gathering of artisans in the UK and I can't wait to get there. I've never been to Europe so believe me when I say that I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and sharing all of my bodypainting tips and techniques with everyone and hopefully learning some new tricks from all of you!

I've been into the arts all my life and I've dabbled in everything from oil painting to airbrushing, but my passion really ignited when I first painted on a human canvas. It's been a great ride since then and I have been blessed to have worked with some absolutely gorgeous models and some fantastic photographers that have helped me to create some images that I am really proud of (and maybe a few images that may never see the light of day). I set a goal early on to get one of my bodypaintings published and since then my work has appeared in more than a dozen magazines (including seven covers).

I've had some great art teachers from elementary school through graduating from Penn State University and they taught me the principles of light and shadow, color theory, perspective, lettering, and countless other fundamentals of art. I applied them all to bodypainting, but ironically most of the key skills that I developed were learned by experimenting and just trudging forward. I've been an instructor for Airbrush Action Magazine, The Face and Body Art International Convention, and the U.S. Bodypainting Competition and at each of these events, I have befriended many of the other instructors and learned new skills and techniques from them and often times from the convention attendees.

I love movies so I'm excited to hear that the theme is "HOLLYWOOD". I've actually done some face and bodypainting for several independent films. Oh, yeah, and I've also visited the Hollywood sign, partied at the Whiskey on Hollywood Boulevard, and even painted lingerie on models at the Playboy Mansion. I'll tell you all about it when I get there.
