I started out graduating with a BSc MediaLab Arts degree in 2000 and going into Web Design and Intranet Consultancy *yawn*... but after the birth of my first child in 2004, I didn't go back.
I had never thought of face painting or body painting before - not even as a hobby, not alone a career - but whilst visiting a local fete and seeing the (quite frankly... awful) face painter there, I casually said to my husband that "I could do better than that" - and to prove a point, he bought me my first mini kit and I've never looked back. I've now been painting professionally for 5 years and it's only when I look back at my first years' painting photos, that I realise how much I have learnt and developed. I have also just qualified in VCTC Fashion and Photographic Make-up and I am looking forward to working with a local creative photographer this year to establish my make-up/body painting portfolio. I look forward to seeing you all soon!
