Where shall I start? well firstly in my teenage years started off working in modelling and bar work while I was studying at college, I then started my main career in accounts as an accounts assistant in my early 20's where I had to except and decline loan applications. when I was 24 I started face painting at weekends which was 16 years ago and my daughter then was age 2, after a few months in starting face painting I set up Rainbow Faces, 5 years after I then set up the company as a registered Limited company. I decided to give up my job as an accounts assistant as the work load from my company was needing me full time. Due to the enormous success and expansion of the company I now operate as a Company Director to Rainbow Faces Ltd and sister company of the UK Face and Body Painting Conventions. I work full time in the office and have my own small team of employees. I also travel through-out the UK offering training and event management to events & promotions.
I have been lucky enough to teach at conventions in USA and UK and hopefully in 2011 I will travel to Seeboden, Belguim and other countries.
I also broke the 'Most faces painted in an hour by an individual' category'. I had already been in the Guinness Book of Records in 2005 - when I took part in a group face painting attempt. This time I managed to paint 113 faces in one hour then lost the title to Gary Cole 2 years later.
I am so happy to be part of these wonderful conventions and to see so many talented artistes teaching their classes, I will be doing a class on what I enjoy doing the most and that is creating colourful and pretty designs.
