I started off as a professional magician 10 years ago. That lead to people requesting me to perform for birthday parties. Through that I learned how to twist balloon animals and eventually had the opportunity to facepaint. My first day facepainting was 7 hours long, I never saw the end of the line, and I knew by my third face painted that this is what I wanted to do with my life.
Face and body art filled my heart with an inspiration I have never felt before. I became a ravenous animal devouring ever tid-bit of knowledge I could find. I met my face and body art heroes, learned the fundimentals needed to bring my imagination to life and started painting with zeal. Its a passion that still fills me today. It is my hope that it shows through my work and in my instruction.
I fell in love with face and body art many years ago. I've been painting professionally for 6 years now. I am versitle and portable and can (and have) paint just about anywhere. I paint both by hand (sponge and brush) and with an airbrush. Usingtheright tool for the job. I only use FDA compliant, hypo-allergenic makeups.
Bodypainting can take anywhere from 2 - 6 hours depending on the detail involved. I pride myself on creating a relaxed, respectful and professional environment. In the end, it's important to have fun.
Bodypaint costs money. If I could, I'd paint everyone for free, but at this time I'm not rich enough to do that. My rates are reasonable and negotiable. I will travel anywhere in the world providing expenses are covered. TFCD will be considered if the artistic value of the shot is too appealing for me to give up. Most of what you see in my portfolio, I shot myself, so watch the credits
All in all, I deeply love what I do. I'm at peace when I paint and I hope that it shows through my work.
Thanks.
