Trained as a Lithographer more years ago than I care to remember, I spent many years working in the field of art reproduction. Sadly Lithographs no longer hold the mystique they once did. However, it meant that I had a formal art training in photography, artwork origination and commercial art preparation.

For the last 10 years my photography and art has been heading into the purely figurative genres. I came across bodypainting around three years ago and have developed an almost overwhelming passion for it. There is no greater canvas than the human form! I also developed an interest in life casting and theatrical prosthetics fabrication, originally to enhance the bodypainting and subsequent photoshoots. This has grown into an entity in it's own right and I now produce these as stand alone pieces or commissioned works.

Throughout I have also maintained an interest in 'traditional' art, from simple nudes to abstract imagery in watercolour, oil, pastel and acrylic. These can be on almost any substrate, from cartridge paper to wall murals.

I won the Amateur category at last years Welsh International Festival of Face and Body Art, and I have been developing my skills to try and enter one of the professional competitions.

I am currently working as a freelance figure photographer, tutor and artist.
